After a great engagement shoot, I knew that shooting Julie and Spike’s wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Easy going, open to ideas, fun to hang around… I enjoyed myself at this wedding and made some great imagery for them. Coincidentally, this was also my 50th wedding. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple, day, or venue. Their ceremony was at Norton Chapel at Keuka College, with the reception hosted by the beautiful Esperanza Mansion in the scenic Finger lakes region overlooking Keuka Lake.

It is a tradition among Julie’s family for all of the women of the family to smoke cigars at weddings. So, we went out in the total darkness and light rain. While smoking is not cool, it certainly lends itself to some cool photos like these
